Students learn to create entirely unique performing material, characters, and techniques. With Keith Berger’s direction, students build original and interpreted works that students have actually gone on to use as viable material in performances and auditions. It is Keith Berger’s philosophy that scene study and movement skills created by students are not allowed to vanish into the air after the student is through with this class; but rather students leave with a strengthened physical presence on stage, an enhanced movement capability, and quite possibly, some of their own solo or group performance material.
This class is a safe and supportive environment where students feel free to experiment and even fail, but where ultimately remarkable theatrical moments are cultivated. We all leave the experience with a sense that we are richer for the time spent.
